About Us
Our Background
Rob Mottice is a fish biologist with 43 years experience in multiple public aquariums, most recently the Tennessee Aquarium. Nora McCarthy has been practicing law for 37 years in Chattanooga, TN. We have been married for 24 years and have been fortunate to travel to many exotic international locations for some fantastic Scuba diving adventures. But now, we are looking forward to seeing our beautiful United States of America in our 2019 DRV 5th wheel.
Our RVs
We started out in 1999 in a large Coleman Niagara popup camper that friends lovingly nicknamed "The Palace". After 11 years, we upgraded to a new-to-us Lance 1121 truck camper that never got a name, but gave us 7 years of wonderful adventures and allowed us to tow our toys behind. In 2018 we purchased the DRV 40KSSB4 5th-wheel shown above.
What is next
After four years of dreaming and planning, we took delivery on May 31, 2018 of our 2019 DRV 40KSSB4 . We sold our home and its contents too. Rob retired and Nora is going to work part-time from the road. We're not sure where we will wander first, but we know it will be a fantastic adventure! We look forward to sharing here with our family and friends.
